MSc in Global Marine Resources Management Entrance Scholarship

To encourage, recognize and reward outstanding students with excellent academic achievements to join the MSC GMRM program.

Award
Each awardee will receive HK$20,000 upon successful registration. The scholarship will be awarded in the form of tuition reduction in Spring Term.


Eligibility and Selection Criteria

  1. Students must be newly admitted, full-time students in the MSc GMRM program; and
  2. Students must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement by fulfilling both of the following conditions:
    (i) They must be among the top 5% of the student’s intake by Graduation Grade Average; and
    (ii) They must have achieved a Graduation Grade Average of no less than 3.65 out of 4.30, or an equivalent grade average of 85% or above, or have obtained first class honors in their undergraduate studies.

 

 

MSc in Global Marine Resources Management ASEAN Scholarship

To encourage, recognize and reward talented students from member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to join the MSc GMRM program. Up to two students will be selected for the scholarship each academic year.

Award
Each awardee will receive HK$ 15,000 upon successful registration. The scholarship will be awarded in the form of tuition reduction in Spring Term.


Eligibility and Selection Criteria

  1. Students must be citizens of an ASEAN country newly admitted students to the MSc GMRM program; and
  2. Students must demonstrate a strong academic background by meeting at least one of the following criteria prior to admission:
    (i) Attaining a Graduation Grade Average (GGA) of no less than 3.20 out of 4.3 (equivalent to B+ or above), or
    (ii) Having obtained the second upper class honors in their undergraduate studies.

MSc in Global Marine Resources Management Academic Excellence Scholarship

To encourage, recognize and reward students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement throughout their studies in the MSc GMRM program. Up to two students will be selected for the scholarship each academic year.

Award
Each awardee will receive HK$ 10,000 and a certificate.


Eligibility and Selection Criteria

  1. Students must have successfully completed all graduation requirements within the normative study period of one academic year, and
  2. They will be ranked according to their Graduation Grade Average (GGA), and the top two students with a GGA of no less than 4.0 will be selected to receive the scholarship.
